The current issue of ny mag is the spring fashion issue. The inside is filled with tons of great articles, one about the gilt groupe's affect on fashion, story and photos of julia and vladimir roitfeld, an interview with anna dello russo, tons of fashion week pics, a story about lorenzo martone, and of course the usual tid bits included in the magazine...my favorite being the real estate in the back pages. You can order back issues online...or sign up for a subscription. I strongly suggest the latter, as it's one of the things I looked forward to most every week!

She is truly an imagist. And has been referred to as the most stylish woman in Paris.

Her style is a mix of 20's and 30's glamour, with a splash of Bea Arthur via The Golden Girls....she invented eccentricity. And the way I feel about her can only be expressed in her own words, "J'ADORE DARLING!"

When asked to describe herself in 5 words she said, "An ejaculation of lifestylizations, DAAAAAAAAAArling!" If for nothing else, you must love her for that.

Her use of kimonos and turbans is BEYOND inspiring.

Most people will recognize kelly cutrone from her appearances on the hills and the city as whitney port's boss at people's revolution. kelly now has her own show coming out on bravo starting monday feb. 1st as well as a book, "If you have to cry go outside; and other things your mother never told you." due out feb. 2nd. i've adored and been entertained by kelly from the first time i laid eyes on her. so i was extremely excited to hear about both these projects. and today i got even more excited when i got my new york magazine and saw an article about her. i am so happy i have a show to look forward to every week, and i've already pre-ordered the book so i have it to read during my trip to l.a. next week!

the thing i love most about my readers comments is that i always get to explore new blogs owned by the commenter! and one of my favorite things to spend the day doing is finding new blogs and reading all the posts since they started...which is exactly what happened when Jennifer Ramos who owns the blog made by girl left a comment!

One of my favorite movies when I was just a young stylista was "unzipped". For those of you who haven't seen it, it followed Issac Mizrahi as he planned his fall '94 collection. The other night it was on tv and it just took me back to that time in my life when I used to sit in my room watching fashion shows on fashion television and dreaming of working for gianni versace. its really a great movie and the models of that time put the models of today to shame. true supermodels. here's a culture club song thats featured during the fashion show that just made me want to strut down a runway!
